On October 12, 2012, the University of Maryland Medical Systems held a Vent 5K event to support the American Respiratory Care Foundation in raising money to give toys to pediatric patients.
Thanks to Keith Boore, respiratory manager, Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, Md., who shared pictures of CHC staff at the event.
Carroll Hospital Center’s respiratory department fielded the “Grinch and Who-ville” team that won “best-themed/show.”
Dr. Naveed Shah, pulmonologist, sponsored and supported Carroll Hospital Center’s Grinch team with a generous donation that helped raise more than $700 in toys for pediatric patients.

The CHC Grinch stole hearts, not Christmas, as he ran fast and furious for the ARCF cause!
